What is Mock up mode?

Mock up mode is where you build room designs: place furniture, try out wall colors, test finishes, and see how everything looks together. You can work from a blank room, a photo of a real space, or a generated background.

Getting started

Click the +🖌️ icon in the top navigation bar. Click Mockup and then Choose between

• Upload Image —  real picture of your space
• Blank Canvas —  start completely from scratch
• Browse Templates —  look through some curated, editable backgrounds

Once you're in a design, the left sidebar organizes everything you need:

• My Library — access products and images you've saved across your projects
• Import — add products or images from anywhere
• Room & Background — opens the Walls, floors, & ceilings panel where you set up your room surfaces and add paint, wallpaper, and flooring. Also gives you quick access to Magic Edit Background.
• Architecture & Finishes — add architectural elements like windows, doors, molding, and other fixtures
• Products — browse and search Spoak's product catalog
• Pieces — iconic and special pieces from through the years
• Accessories — find stock decor details, curtains, frames, and more
• Text & Shapes — add custom shapes and text to customize further
• Layers — view and reorder everything on the canvas
• Settings — canvas and design settings
• Fun — discover new tools available in mockup mode

When you select an item on the canvas, a contextual toolbar appears at the top with options specific to that item: Product, Perspective, Finish & Fabric, and Edit Image. A second toolbar appears at the bottom of the selected item with quick actions.

A few things to know

• Name your design before you start! It keeps things organized, especially as you build multiple files.
• Use Layers to control what sits in front of or behind other items. If a rug is appearing on top of the sofa, that's a layers issue.
• Use ⌘ + Z to undo any change.
