Let's go through creating a Custom room!
Start by choosing the base that best matches the space that you're trying to visualize
Once selected, it will open up Room Vizi and the magic begins!
Name your design
You know the drill! We always suggest starting by naming what you're working on to keep things organized down the line.
Click where it says Untitled at the top of your plan and update the name to whatever you'd like!
Setup your room
Start the same way you would start decorating your space! Click the Architecture icon in the left navigation bar and stat customizing!
- Add paint/wall paper to your walls- guide here
- Select the flooring that matches what you have in your space or try out different options your considering
- Click Floor in the Walls & Floors and check out our curated flooring collection
If you don't see a finish that's exactly what you're looking for, click the ➕ under My hard materials to upload your own floor image/product
🔥Hot Tip! If you're googling to find the floor finish you want, search the type of flooring you're looking for + "texture" to find options that look seamless when applied to your design
Once you've applied the finish to your floor, you can use the edit bar with the floor selected to adjust the pattern size to make sure it looks exactly how you want!
Add any windows/doors or any other architectural elements to make it look as close to your space as possible
- For windows and doors specifically, when you add them to your room, they will automatically open our ✨Magic✨ Install tool so you can just drag them to the wall you like and they'll automatically match the perspective of that wall!
For windows, you can also add Outdoor scenery and then layer it behind your window to make them look even more realistic!
Start adding your things!
Now that our room is set up, we can jump into adding all of the pretty things to make it your dream space!
Let's quickly run through all of your tools/options in the Left Navigation!

Make it look real
Once you've added your products and images to your design, you can use the Edit Tool bar to make them fit!
Start with Background!
This is how you can ✨magically✨ remove the background for any products you add! Hate tracing something in photoshop to remove the background? SAME. Just click Background > Magic to magically remove the background in your image! Read more about Magic Erase here!
Rotate/Flip things to make them fit in your space!
If the chair you want to add only has a product photo where it's facing left but you really want it to be facing right, no worries! Use a horizontal flip! Same goes for rotating (think rotating the direction of a rug!)
🔥Hot tip! If the product you added doesn't have the photo you need for your space, check out our guide for adding additional product images here
What is Perspective?
Perspective is Spoak's tool to stretch/distort items to give the effect of 3D! No worries though, you don't have to be a expert at perspective to use this! We've made it as easy as a couple clicks with our ✨Magic Install✨ tool!
Simply click Perspective and then toggle the Auto angle switch to on and we'll auto-magically apply perspective!
Arrange things
Oops! The rug is sitting on top of the coffee table and sofa! No biggie, use the Layers tool to move things backward/forward in the plan so that it looks like things sitting on top of each other.
You got this!
Now that you've got an idea of the basics, create your space! We can't wait to see all the beautiful space you create!
