Looking for how to Create a Project? Check out our guide here!

Let's walk through each option on your project hub tool bar:

Thingdex

Think of the Thingdex as the index of all the things in your project (get it?! 😉) This is where you'll find all of the products you've added, every inspo image you've used, and all of your vizis, mood boards, and plans.

The Thindex is defaulted to show all things, but you can always filter to find specific products you've sourced or by Vizis & Plans to find your designs!

Try out the other filter options to easily sort through your project or use the 🔍Search bar to find exactly what you're looking for!

From the Thingdex, you can easily add items to your shopping list, add to a section, or move to a different project using the buttons on each thing-

You can also move things to sections/remove them in bulk by selecting multiple!

Keep in mind! The Thindex is your private workspace. If you're presenting this project to a client, your client can't see anything in the Thingdex until you add it to a section.

Sections

Use sections to organize the items in your project. We suggest organizing by room if you're working on more than one, or by item type ie. 'Seating' if you're reviewing chair options. You can add items from your project once you start designing!

For Client Projects only- Add and use subsections to further organize! For example, in a living room section, create a "Rug options" subsection to easily organize different rugs you're considering!

If you're not quite ready for a client to see a section of the project, or if you've already completed part of a project and you'd like to leave it out of the presentation, click on the eye👁️ icon by the section name to hide it!

Budget & Shop List

This is where you can review/track all the things you need (want) to buy for your project.

By default, the shop list is organized by section but let's say you want to find all the items on your shop list from a specific brand so you know everything to add to your cart on that brand's website! Change the Sort by field to 'Brand' to change the grouping-

Use the filter options, or column view options to decide what you want to see in the shop list!

And don't forget to set a budget! We'll track how much you're spending against your budget for every object you add to your shop list!

Cover

This is an optional cover page for your project. It's the first thing viewers will see when they open the link. Use it to tell your project's story!

Feedback

[for client projects]

This is where you can find any/all feedback that your clients have left on the products/designs you've shared!

Add People

This is where you can add collaborators- to work on the project with you, or clients- so that they can share feedback on your proposals!

This is also where you can email your project out or copy the direct link to share out the presentation view!

Settings

  • Public: Toggle this on for the Spoak community to see your designs- you'll be eligible to be featured in Spoak's newsletters, blog, and social media!
  • Status: Archived projects can still be viewed, but the content will be locked. Active projects can be edited/updated to your heart's desire.

Client Projects are only available for our Pro Tier and up. Find out how to upgrade here.

  • Client Project: Toggle this on to share your project with clients and unlock specific client features, such as adding markup to products.
    • This cannot be turned off once enabled
  • Client Settings: Choose one of the following for your project
    • Show all product details: Allows your client to see all the details available about the product
    • Disable purchase links: If you're doing all the purchasing, disabling purchase links keeps the product info, but hides the direct link to the vendor's website
    • Disable purchase links and hide prices: This is the most restrictive, hiding the link to purchase like above but also hiding the price
    • Default Tax & Markup: set the default tax amount and mark up for all items you add to your project

Now that you've got the lay of the project hub land, check out Presentation mode by clicking the play icon in the top right corner of the project hub!

We've cleaned up the project based on the sections/selections you've made to make it pretty and presentable for your client or whoever you'd like to share all your hard work with!

And that's the Project Hub! Now that you know you're way around here, let's start creating!
