Can I upload an existing floor plan?
If you already have an image of your floor plan you want to add furniture to it rather than drawing all the walls from scratch, Spoak has made this as easy as 2 steps to make sure the scale is set correctly so that you can visualize exactly how things fit!
When starting your floor plan, choose Import Image from the options at the top or scroll down to Custom Plans and then click on Import Image
From there, either upload your saved image or paste the image URL.
Click Use this template once it's loaded and then select Floor Plan from the "What're you Designing" options.
Once you get into Floor Planner, with the image uploaded, you'll be prompted to set the scale by wall when you first open your floor plan
- Drag the pink line to a wall that you know the dimension of
- Stretch it to be the full length of the wall
- Enter the length of the wall so that it is 1:1 with your floor plan.
- Click Done
Et Voila! You have a floor plan to work off where Spoak will automatically recognize the scale of the space so that you can see accurate representations of how different pieces fit in your space!
