Can I use Spoak to lay out a gallery wall?

Absolutely!

Use our Elevations tool to layout your dream gallery wall and make sure everything fits perfectly!

Start by creating a new elevation, and set the canvas to the size of the wall you want to create a gallery wall on! (Read more about re-sizing your canvas here.)

Once your wall is set, start by adding frames from our stock assets (check the Mirrors & Frames category!) We've provided a few generic frame shapes that you can fill with any color and enter specific dimensions for based on the real frames you want!

When the frame is the right size and color, use the ruler tool to help determine where on the wall to place the frame or to measure the space between frames!

Rinse and repeat until you've laid out all your frames/shapes in the layout that looks best to you!

Once you've got your layout down, for an extra level of ✨, you can add artwork/images to the frames!

Scroll through the items in our product catalogue, or add your own images / products!

Take these steps to place the artwork in the frame:

  1. With the art selected, click dimensions in the tool bar and then toggle the labels off
  2. Drag the art to the desired frame and then scale it down so that it fits in the frame (it doesn't have to be perfect!
  3. When the scale is right, click the Layers button and then click send back so that the art is sitting behind the frame

That's it! You now have framed art on your wall! Repeat this process and try out moving things around between frames to create your dream gallery wall!
