What happened to Viz?

Viz was the name for Spoak's visualization tool, used for creating room vizis, mood boards, floor plans, and elevations. Those are now split into two dedicated modes, and both got a serious upgrade.

Here's how the old and new terms map:

Before Now
Viz / Vizi Design Mode / Design
Room vizi Mockup
Floor plan or elevation Plan
"Create a vizi" "Create a mockup" or "Create a design"

Mockup mode

Room vizis are now mockups. Your designs, products, and version history are all intact — and you have a lot more to work with.

Custom Cutouts let you lift any object from a photo and bring it onto the canvas as a piece you can design with. Grouped options let you bundle multiple pieces into a single option and swap them out together, so you can present a full furniture arrangement as one choice.

Sharing your work got an upgrade too. Presentation mode now has organized tabs that separate shoppable products from design options, so clients see a clean, focused view instead of everything at

once.

Plan mode

Floor plans and elevations are now in Plan mode, which runs on an infinite canvas with no fixed borders/size. Select multiple walls and move them as a group for faster layout adjustments.
