What is Magic Canvas?

Magic Canvas converts a photo of a room into an editable Mockup canvas. Upload a photo of your space, and Spoak uses AI to identify and extract the furniture, decor, and products in it: so you can swap items out, try new ones, and see changes in context.

How to use it

Start by selecting Mockup when creating a new design and choose Upload Image
Once you've added the image of your space, choose Convert to Magic Canvas
Spoak processes the image and cuts out every object in the image, choose which cutouts you want to keep on the canvas (each cutout has a specific token cost- select cutouts to see the total cost)

Note: Processing takes a few moments. The canvas opens once the image is ready.

What you can do after conversion

Once your room photo is on the canvas, you can use all of Mockup mode's features:

Swap any detected product with something from Spoak's catalog or your Library
Use Magic Edits to change finishes, backgrounds, or angles
Add new items to the room
View version history to compare before and after

Tips for best results

Use a well-lit photo with clear sight-lines
Photos taken straight-on (rather than at a steep angle) tend to give the cleanest results
If an item wasn't detected, you can still place products manually on the canvas
