How does Spoak use AI?
Spoak uses AI as a productivity tool, not a creativity tool. Every design in the studio is made by a real person. AI never makes creative decisions on your behalf.
What that means in practice
Spoak's AI features handle the technical execution of your choices. They don't suggest, generate, or influence what your design contains.
Magic Render takes the design you built and converts it into a photorealistic image. AI is doing the 2D-to-3D conversion. It has no say in what's in the room.

Magic Upholstery lets you reupholster furniture with any fabric you choose. AI applies the fabric to the item in seconds, a process that would otherwise require painstaking manual masking. The fabric and the furniture are both your call.

Our stance on AI-generated design
Spoak draws a firm line here: AI does not, has not, and will not make creative judgment calls inside the studio. As AI generation has become more common across creative platforms, this boundary has only become more important to us.
Environmental impact
AI is computationally intensive, and we take that seriously. A percentage of every membership goes monthly to Carbon 180, an organization focused on removing CO2 that's already in the atmosphere. As of this writing, our contributions support the removal of over 6 metric tons of CO2 from the atmosphere each year.
Spoak is not affiliated with Carbon 180. To learn more about their work, visit carbon180.org.
