How do I remove the background of an object?

There are two ways: automatic removal with Magic, or manual brush control.

Magic removal

1. Select the image on the canvas.
2. Click Remove BG in the item toolbar. Or use the shortcut: ⌘ + Shift + R.

You can also reach this via Edit Image in the top toolbar, then select Magic under Background Removal & Crop.

Manual removal

1. Select the image on the canvas.
2. Click Edit Image in the top toolbar.
3. Select Manual under Background Removal & Crop.
4. Adjust the brush size and erase what you need.

Note: If the Magic eraser removes too much or too little, switch to Manual to clean it up. You can use both methods on the same image.
