Can I upload an existing blue print?

Yes. If you already have a blue print image and want to add furniture or trace over it to use as a starting point, use Upload blueprint.

  1. Click Upload blueprint in the left side bar if you're already in plan mode or after selecting Plan mode when starting a new design.
  2. Upload your image or paste an image URL.
  3. Spoak will then auto-detect the walls, doors, windows, and scale.
  4. Once it's loaded, you can add additional walls, move things around, or manually update the scale if it's not quite right

Spoak uses that measurement to calibrate the entire plan so that any assets you add are displayed at accurate scale.

To rescale the entire plan

If the auto-detect didn't get it quite right

  1. Click Rescale at the top with the blueprint selected
  2. Draw a line along a wall or object with a known length by clicking the 2 points on the plan
  3. Input the known length
  4. Choose whether to automatically re-scale all assets already on the canvas
  5. Click Apply

To hide the blueprint after tracing

Once you've drawn your walls and no longer need the background image, you can toggle its visibility off by clicking Hide Blueprint from the top toolbar.

If you need to bring it back at any point, open the Layers panel in the left navigation and then click Blueprints. From there you can show the blueprint by clicking the eye icon
